FFM 2020 12: Lost Home

The ice dragons watched their old home fall apart.

FFM 2020 11: Heavy Metal Sanctuary

11/07/2020 ~ WindySilver ~ 1 Comment

If the movie industry ever recovered from Earth getting invaded and thoroughly ravaged, the first soundtracks would be mainly heavy metal: loud and aggressive just like the destruction over our heads on the surface.

FFM 2020 10: Black Dye

10/07/2020 ~ WindySilver ~ Leave a comment

"Okay, I think I've sorted through these," Ria suddenly shook me out of my thoughts. "It's only an aesthetic thing, but I want to dye these black before using them."

FFM 2020 9: A Mysterious Hologram

09/07/2020 ~ WindySilver ~ Leave a comment

The hologram was still following me. I ducked into a storeroom where there should not have been any hologram projectors aside from the ones allocated for assistant holograms only; it should be a safe space away from it.

FFM 2020 8: Gathering Feathers

When he sat up after regaining consciousness, Unar stared at the destruction around himself.

FFM 2020 7: The Worst Sunset Ever

07/07/2020 ~ WindySilver ~ Leave a comment

No prompt used. Challenge instead. The challenge: Obtain challenges from other FFMers (and challenge others as well) and pick a line of dialogue and two complex characters who work together for a goal. My choices ended up being: "Just toss the fucking underwear in the fire!" (from SarcasticCupcake5), A fighter pilot, crash-landed and separated from … Continue reading FFM 2020 7: The Worst Sunset Ever

FFM 2020 5: Migraines During Apocalypse

05/07/202012/07/2020 ~ WindySilver ~ Leave a comment

The absolute worst part of the apocalypse was not the difficulty of finding food, trying to deal with diseases like a cold with limited or no medicine or the lack of reliable human contacts.

The Wayback Machine and any other archiving scrapers are welcome here.
(Not that this boilerplate will actually do anything because scrapers will keep scraping until something literally forces them to stop but at least no one can claim it hasn't been said here.)

Quotes

"All writers are vain, selfish and lazy, and at the very bottom of their motives lies a mystery. Writing a book is a long, exhausting struggle, like a long bout of some painful illness. One would never undertake such a thing if one were not driven by some demon whom one can neither resist nor understand."
— George Orwell

"You may call me whatever you wish, but I'm taking your cake."
