Down the Memory Lane

Down the Memory Lane is a short Ren’Py-made visual novel I made in a few days for a creative writing course in October 2021. The task was to make a digital story in two weeks, and I decided to make a visual novel. Since I didn’t have the resources for creating anything else than the story itself and whatever code would be necessary, all art and music came from assets I found on itch.io.

In this visual novel, you play as Jake, who, alongside his partner, Sylvia, visit his childhood home with hopes of him regaining his memories. It features four different endings.

One thing that makes Down the Memory Lane special to me is the fact that it’s my first project that’s gotten a YouTube video made by someone other than anyone involved in making the game. If you want to check out the video, you can watch it below.
