Challenge: Write a 55-word story. It must have a pair of rhyming lines (“a pair of sentences or phrases of at least three words each (preferably with the same amount of words), in which the last words rhyme with each other”).
I’ve been wanting to make a story titled Whoops to use as the titular story of this year’s FFM collection because due to Beyari and Steirdrar’s story getting completely out of hand on day 1 I’ve been saying ‘whoops’ a lot during this FFM, and after sleeping on this evil challenge I got the idea for oops-whoops rhyme. Yay!
“What would you say if your project got completely out of hand?”
“Um… I’d probably say ‘oops’.”
“Hmm… That doesn’t sound strong enough.”
“…Then why not ‘whoops’? That’s got more oomph.”
“‘Whoops’… Yeah. Yeah, that sounds strong enough. Thanks.”
I turn to the screen showing my project, which has gotten way out of hand. “Whoops.“
