This quarter has suddenly reached its end, so it’s time for a new Currently on my art post. Not that I have anything to share aside from Q2 stats.
Really. At least half of this June disappeared into (presumably) the same void as May did and I definitely got a lot less done than I wanted to. Although, FFM 2025 kicks off tomorrow, so look forward to a month of (hopefully decent) flash fiction. Viva!
Anyhow. Here’s the lackluster stats of Q2 2025:
Very lackluster indeed, being even worse than Q1 stats. Oh well. This is not my year, clearly.
Well, let’s see how things are going with my projects, as per my project widget:
- The Fate’s Way: Chapter 88 is in writing. I’m still not particularly close to beating my writer’s block here but I am making okay-ish progress. I still need to redraw the regular Alyssa and also Alyssa’s friends and family and the other important people, like Matti, someday. I still haven’t found the time to revise any more chapters.
- Lyokostar: The second part of story 7 is still waiting for alphareading, but that’s a thing for once its indefinite hiatus ends. This story is in need of massive reworking, so it’s going to take a long time to finish when I do find the time and energy to resume it. References need to be done.
- A Wandering Aura: On indefinite hiatus. I’m considering discontinuing this since I’d like to dedicate whatever hypothetical energy I might regain to dealing with Lyokostar rather than this.
- I’ll Draw The Stars: I’m reworking to add a considerably big plot bunny into the fic and lots of smaller plot bunnies in the form of the background characters I researched for my master’s thesis. I’m currently working on chapter 82 out of (currently) 89. I wrote 2646 words in this quarter; it’s still very slow progress.
- Gaming: Habitica keeps on going. I’ve played Desktop Survivors 98, a bit of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (so far spent more time modding it than playing it though) and I also tried the game SuchArt!
- Other projects: I didn’t manage to finish my Tribble Month 2020 collection before the end of the quarter. Oh well, after FFM then.
- Reading: I’ve read some Star Wars fanfiction and two Star Wars books: Star Wars: Jedi – The Dark Side by Scott Allie, and Star Wars Rebels: Sabine My Rebel Sketchbook by Daniel Wallace.
- Personal life: Nothing aside from continuing unsuccessful job hunting.
