Challenge: Write a story with a palindromic wordcount and include one (or more) multi-word sentence that is a palindrome (punctuation is not counted).
This story is brought to you by the numerous memes of a word being similar in many languages and then something like English or Finnish having a completely different word for it and Damon L. Wakes bringing up the idea of using a single word multiple times in a sentence (AKA the formula of his banana stories) for the palindromic sentence element on the FFM Discord.
I frowned at the paper. “What does the title of your essay mean? I mean, it’s not English… I think? How do you even pronounce it? Ananas… sanana?”
“That’s about right. Ananas sanana — it’s Finnish and means ‘pineapple as a word’,” Anni explained.
“Oh. I kinda thought it might be about pineapples somehow. That explains why your subtitle is ‘when loanwords are used in Finnish — and when they certainly are not’.”
“Yep. It’s also a palindrome, which makes it extra fun.”
“Huh. Cool.”
“Wait till you read the essay. It’s filled with puns and palindromes.”
I groaned. “I hope the teacher has a good sense of humor.”
Anni laughed. “I’m so he does. And if not — well, that’s not going to make it less punny!”
I facepalmed much to Anni’s amusement.

Echoing what MinneWinne said, I love how you played with languages here. Doing some bilingual shenanigans in stories is always fun, and it’s especially fun to read on top of it all. Nice job interpreting the challenge! And I like how self-referential things all are on top of it; it’s just the cherry on top. :>
