No prompts used, although I challenged myself to write a drabble. Not sure where this is set in the Lost in Starlight world; before the stories I’ve written for it so far this year is all I know for now.
The forest fire was raging around us. If we needed proof that the local dragon had to be dealt with, we now had it β and we were not in the position to engage it at all yet.
I turned to Ria. “So, uh, any change you might know rain or water spells?”
“No.” Ria looked around. “A friend of mine in the City specialized in liquid-related spells but, well, she won’t be helping us, that’s for sure.”
“Shit.”
“I can fly, though. Give me a moment and I’ll be able to carry you.”
Oh dear. “Alright. Let’s go with that.”
I like how casual these two react to the situation. Not panicking, just asking Ria if she knew anything that could help them, and then escaping. I would not be as good of a thinker in this situation, haha. I hope they make it out safe, however they try to do it! :>

Fortunately (or unfortunately?) they have already experience in Fighting A Monster Goes Very Wrong(tm) so they know not to panic by now lol

I have no idea (for now) if they’ll get out of there safely but since this story occurs before the previous the stories from this month, they will at least get out :’D
