Challenge: Write a 55-word story that’s a tragedy or a comedy. Optionally, combine the two and make the story a tragicomedy.
The blood spatters all over the murder scene formed a circus — clown faces, animals, the whole shebang. There was someone crying in the other room, but I couldn’t help admiring the work. It was like the splatters might start moving if someone started playing circus music.
I put the music on and move they did.
