FFM 2023 31: Recovery – Take II

Over the next few hours following waking up again, Bereth came to find more issues with his body: first of all, his fingers did not obey him well enough to type, forcing him to use text-to-speech systems to write on the tablet he had been given. Second of all, his sense of smell was gone. Third of all, so was his sense of taste.

FFM 2023 27: Weddon’t

Mary carried her brother’s wedding cake across the lawn, eyes glued to the wiggling grooms on top.  Around her, the furniture sported golden ribbons, just as she’d planned.  A perfect venue for her perfect brother, complete with a perfect— A chunk of hail the size of a golf ball slammed through all four layers.
