Hi everyone!
Half a quarter has passed and thus it is once again time for a Currently on my art post. This will be a very short one, though.
Honestly, the only news or anything I have to tell is that the 2024 World Collections are finally out. I considered finishing my Tribble Month 2020 collection before them but I figured that since the World Collections are more urgently overdue, I should get them out first. For the first time, the World Collections link to Books2Read links for the books the stories have been collected in rather than the original Smashwords links, but otherwise there are no changes to the format.
That’s all the news for this post. Let’s see how things are going with my projects, as per my project widget:
- The Fate’s Way: Chapter 87 is in editing. I’m still not particularly close to beating my writer’s block here but I am making okay-ish progress. I still need to redraw the regular Alyssa and also Alyssa’s friends and family and the other important people, like Matti, someday. I still haven’t found the time to revise any more chapters.
- Lyokostar: The second part of story 7 is still waiting for alphareading, but that’s a thing for once its indefinite hiatus ends. This story is in need of massive reworking, so it’s going to take a long time to finish when I do find the time and energy to resume it. References need to be done.
- A Wandering Aura: On indefinite hiatus. I’m considering discontinuing this since I’d like to dedicate whatever hypothetical energy I might regain to dealing with Lyokostar rather than this.
- I’ll Draw The Stars: I’m reworking to add a considerably big plot bunny into the fic and lots of smaller plot bunnies in the form of the background characters I researched for my master’s thesis. I’m currently working on chapter 81 out of (currently) 89. I’ve written 2040 words so far in this quarter; it’s still very slow progress.
- Gaming: Habitica keeps on going. I’ve resumed playing Yakuza 0 and I also played the demo of Desktop Survivor 98 (and got hooked lol).
- Other projects: I’ve gotten progress on my Tribble Month 2020 collection and the 2024 World Collections are out. I’m going to try to finish the TM 2020 collection during this quarter.
- Reading: I’ve read some SMTV and Star Wars fanfiction and I’m currently reading the Star Wars novel A New Dawn by John Jackson Miller.
- Personal life: Nothing aside from unsuccessful job hunting.
