Sometimes you wonder if your life growing up would have been any different, had your parents been rich. It was their uncontrolled impulse buying that had gotten them — and you — into poverty, after all. Then again… perhaps other people would have stepped in and stopped them when they would have actually filled the house with useless stuff like hoarders.
Well, unless you invent or get involved in traveling through the multiverse, you will never know what would have happened.
