As a teenager, you started seeing the celebrity deaths — overdoses, suicides, an accident or illness once in a blue moon. As an adult, you started seeing problems in the world of the famous — stalkers, the lack of privacy, paparazzi, the inability to trust people to be in your life for you, skeletons in the closet coming to light, mental health issues driving people to more problems and even death.
As an adult, you understood that the celebrities were people just like you, with their strengths and weaknesses, vices and virtues, living in a world just as — if not more — brutal as yours.
