Flash Fictions

I’ve written flash fictions ever since June 2015, which was when I participated in a Flash Fiction Contest on DeviantArt in preparation for the main thing which caused me to find my way to the world of flashfics: Flash Fiction Month, FFM for short. While I occasionally write random flash fictions, FFM stories make up most of my flash fictions.

Between FFM 2016 and FFM 2018, we had Flash Prompts, monthly flash fiction challenges to keep the rust away from the flash ficcing skills of the FFM folk. After FFM 2017, the duration of Flash Prompts has been extended to one in two months, giving the busiest of flashers more time to join these challenges. However, Flash Prompts did not make a return after FFM 2018, and I believe they won’t return after FFM 2019 either.
Inspired by fellow FFMers such as Damon. L. Wakes and G.Deyke, I’m creating my own FFM collections. I’ve gathered my FFM stories and other stories on my computer for that purpose. The fanfictions among the FFM stories I will, however, leave out and instead give links to them to avoid copyright issues. That should be the most legal way to deal with them, I think.
If I’m wrong, please go ahead and correct me.

You can read more about my plans for my FFM collections here.

As for my other flash fiction stories, there are fewer ones there, mostly ones written for contests or challenges. Many of them are actually for one big contest: The Gauntlet, an insane contest with nine challenges, starting from normal ones until it escalates into pure insanity. Yes, despite of my stress and workload with school, I decided to participate in it, and completed it not on just one year, but also on a second one, and I do not plan to stay away from it during the following years either. I suppose after being among the FFMers for three years, I had finally reached the “insane masochist writer” level. And I regret absolutely nothing of that.

Nothing at all.
